The Quilted Raven offers a broad selection of key quilting products. It serves the needs of a vibrant local community of quilters and sewers across Canada’s North. Tourists are sure to find a unique souvenir to remind them of their visit! We have over 2500 bolts of fabric, including the largest selection of Northern Lights fabrics in Canada, 1500 bolts of batiks, 300 different flannels and lots of other cottons.

The shop caters to a variety of tastes, interests and needs with high quality materials, so you can create a lasting and beautiful project.
We offer a variety of learning opportunities for beginners and advanced quilters.
We also support the local quilting community serving as a gathering place for learning and socializing
Take a class
Our bright and airy classroom space is host to a variety of events, including classes offered by The Quilted Raven and by the Yellowknife Quilters’ Guild.
Organize a sewing day
Groups are welcome to use the space (when free) for a day of sewing. All we ask is that you “Feed the Pig”: A $5 donation to Ovarian Cancer Research, which will be matched by the store.
Spread out
Our classroom tables are built for layering and pinning large quilts, and our design wall is perfect for auditioning pieces or photographing you work. Come use the space when it’s available!

Stuck on a project? bring it in for discussion. Sometimes, just talking it through will be all that you need.
